Please vote if at all possible (I mean, don't vote if you're not allowed to, obviously). In Canada employers are legally required to give you time off work to vote, don't know about the USA. I won't tell you who to vote for, but please do vote.

You know, I'm always surprised that USA voting happens on a weekday. I'm so used to it being a big Saturday thing here -- completed with lining up at local schools to vote and buying from whatever BBQ / cake stall is set up there. Trying to organise time off on a weekday when so many people are working seems really awkward to me.

Huh, interesting. In Canada, federal and provincial elections happen on a weekday. I seem to recall voting for municipal elections happening on Saturdays, though.

BBQ and cake stalls would make voting much more fun. Pick up dinner, pick up dessert.
