Do I know anybody in Orlando, FL? Gawd almighty, this news was not what I wanted to wake up to. It's 6 am and I'm wide awake. Got up half an hour ago to go to the bathroom, absent-mindedly checked my phone while still half asleep, and was suddenly all woken up.

I've got family there and know a gay couple there. I don't know the latter well, though; I won't be able to confirm that they're okay until work tomorrow.

The LGBT population of Orlando has to be huge; the odds are excellent that they're just fine. (Physically, anyway. Impossible to believe they're fine emotionally.) But yeah.
