So, the Panama Papers? Grimly entertaining, or THE entertaining-est thing to hit the media in a long time? Also, someone at Mossack Fonseca is having a VERY bad day.

In slightly related news, our fiscal year just ended at work, and I am going ever so slightly crazy with all the work that needs to be done before Friday to process everything. To the point where at the end of the day yesterday, I emailed Immediate Boss with a list of the 7 things I'm currently working on, asking if I can temporarily ditch 4 of the items, and focus solely on the 3 things that relate to the old fiscal year. Because otherwise I'm going to get none of this stuff finished in time.

Had tutoring last night after work, and as usual ended up feeling about 2 feet tall.

Young Miss Weaver is going for her annual check-up on Saturday, which means I need to figure out where I hid the kitty tranquilizers. I suppose if push came to shove I could give her a quarter of an Ativan, I've done it in the past with the vet's approval, but damnit, I need my Ativan for myself. The kitty tranks are to all intents and purposes Ativan at a suitably feline-sized dose.

Found my garage door opener under a charity dog calendar (a calendar with photographs of dogs for charity, not a calendar made of dogs) from 2011. Amazingly enough the garage door opener still works. Those must be some hardcore batteries it's got. Not having a car, I've never bothered much with the thingie for opening the automatic door to the underground parkade.

Getting my hair done tomorrow after work, so I will look all glamorous for about 24 hours and then revert to looking like myself.

Off to read some more about the Panama Papers. And (glancing at the time) get ready for work.
