Jun. 19th, 2016 02:07 pmSorry to hear of Anton Yelchin's death at only 27. And apparently he was an only child, too, which makes it even worse, somehow. I only saw him in the one movie, the first Star Trek reboot, but he seemed talented enough.

avengers_search on my f-list. On the bright side, it's helped me find 2 wonderful fics which I couldn't have found otherwise, and has allowed me to return the favour on 1 occasion. On the cloudy side, it seems to get clogged up a lot with posts that aren't searching for a specific fic, but which are "wouldn't it be neat if someone wrote X in this fandom?" To my mind, a story finders community shouldn't be about that. But the mods aren't deleting the posts, so clearly this particular story finding comm IS about that. I either have to get used to it, or take it off my f-list until the next time I forget to bookmark a superb story in the MCU fandom(s).
It stopped raining overnight (guess I'll hold off on the ark blueprints a little longer), which means I should be out on my patio sweeping up dead leaves and pruning (not in that order, obviously. Pruning first, because otherwise you have to sweep up twice). Maybe I'll watch a movie instead.
