If you're looking for an electrician in the greater Vancouver area, you could do worse than to look at them. They were recommended to me by the property manager who runs my building, and I'm happy with them.
And I am currently dealing with Foot Solutions, a specialty shoe store in Kitsilano (one block from Broadway and Macdonald, so easily accessible via transit from elsewhere in the city) and they are giving me such good customer service I could weep for joy. They didn't have what I was looking for in stock, so they called the manufacturer and are special ordering the shoes I need (which are the exact same Finn Comfort shoes I bought elsewhere a few years ago).
If you have a hard-to-fit foot size or need orthotics, they have a great selection in stock, and are very willing to special order anything they don't already have. They're not cheap, but nowhere is cheap when you're looking for specialty shoes. And they definitely don't have that "take it or leave it" attitude some specialty shoe stores seem to specialize in.
