Dec. 20th, 2013 08:44 pmSo, about a million years ago I had a bunch of links to Stargate: Atlantis fic that I loved. I think that was one computer ago, because I can't find those links anywhere now. Picking brains to see if I can find 2 fics again:
1. John comes to Atlantis as Rodney's mail order bride. Well, mail order groom, technically. Basically, Rodney is BUSY, and doesn't have time to do housework, and has the bright idea of importing someone to do it for him. And he already asked his sister to come to Atlantis and be his housekeeper, but she told him to go to hell. John got kicked out of the Air Force and the mail order bride thing is his last hope at going off-world.
2. This one I remember in a fair bit of detail. Right before a crisis, John seeks out Rodney, just to talk to him, and is flummoxed when Rodney gives him a blow job. And then Rodney thinks they're dating, which is super-awkward and John has no idea how to gently let him down without ending their friendship, so he ends up going along with it, while feeling conflicted. This one features John getting injured and letting Rodney take care of him (in all sorts of ways), so John has a lot to feel conflicted about. It ends happily.
Do either of these fics sound remotely familiar, or am I hallucinating them?
In other news, white stuff fell from the sky AGAIN today. I am not dreaming of a white Christmas, but I am fearing one.
