Aug. 27th, 2012 07:50 pmJohn Scalzi's novel "Redshirts" starts slowly, but soon becomes HYSTERICALLY FUNNY and then stays taht way, so I'm glad I persevered. It's also genuinely touching in places.
However, a question for people. What is the difference between a head writer and a show runner? I always thought they were them same thing, but John Scalzi seems to think otherwise, and he probably knows a lot more about it than me.
