And i never saw La-La Land, for much the same reason as you. I saw a few trailers and commercials, which suggested that neither Ryan Gosling nor Emma Stone were up to much in terms of the singing and dancing. If you don't cast competent singers and dancers, you won't be getting my hard-earned ticket money when it's in theatres, nor will I bother with the DVD.
