raincitygirlUgh. For the second day in a row I've had to leave work early due to illness. It's only Tuesday. Maybe some day this week I'll make it through a full day. Cutting for vomiting-related TMI: Today was me throwing up all over the ladies room. I was aiming for the toilet bowl, but didn't get there in time. I feel so sorry for the poor janitorial staff who have to clean up after me.
In other news, the other day I impulsively sent The Americans, Seasons 1 and 2 to Uncle #1 from Amazon UK. They had a good sale on, 9.99 pounds for Season 1 and 11.70 pounds for Season 2. I think it's a brilliant show, my brother thinks it's a brilliant show, my dad (Uncle's brother) thinks it's a brilliant show. However, now I am stricken with guilt. What if Uncle #1 feels duty-bound to watch it, and hates it? I said in the gift note that it was an impulse buy, I know he doesn't watch much TV, and if it turns out to be not his thing, to give it away with a clear conscience. Hopefully that's enough that he won't feel obligated to watch it.
And thus to bed. At 2:24 pm.
