Do I want to watch Fruitvale Station, or will it just depress me?
One of my fuchsia plants is dying, dammit, and another looks kind of bedraggled after the rainstorm on the weekend. I love fuchsias, and I will be sad if either of them die. I can buy more at the garden centre, but that's not the point. If I do have to buy more, I will buy the variety that is still thriving. Evidently some breeds of fuchsia are hardier than others.

I met a blue Doberman the other day, and his human also. He had been a rescue from a kill shelter somewhere in the States, I forget exactly where. I wasn't sure what kind of dog he was, given that he had natural ears, not cropped, and was this weird blue-ish grey colour instead of black and tan. His human said she convinced her elderly, macho landlord to let her have a dog, and a big dog at that, by saying, "Well, I'm a woman living alone, and this isn't a very good neighbourhood. I need protection." Judging by my interactions with the big friendly doggie, he would likely lick an attempted burglar or rapist to death, but the landlord was convinced, and that's all that matters.
So, Americans on my f-list, do you think Trump is going to win in November?
