(no subject)

Oof, I'm tired. This was officially a day to forget. I have lots of replies to answer from my last few posts, but I'm not doing it right now, I'm putting my feet up, and having a glass of cheap wine. Maybe later I will cuddle with Young Miss Weaver and attempt once again to convince her that nothing terrible will happen to her if she sits in my lap while I watch TV. She is quite affectionate (with me, that is, not with the rest of the world) but she is not a lap cat. I blame her feral background.

Also, would people PLEASE stop bombing Doctors Without Borders hospitals? First the one in Afghanistan and now this one in Syria. MSF is going to be forced to pull out of these countries altogether if their staff keep getting killed. Which I suppose is the whole damn point. Apparently one of the casualties in yesterday's bombing raid was the last paediatrician in Aleppo. OK, not dwelling on it anymore, going to finish my wine.
