Feb. 20th, 2016 05:38 pmDid you know that in Germany, court fines are apparently determined based on the finee's income? So if you're poor, you'll get a much smaller fine than someone rich. That strikes me as such a SENSIBLE system. Marco Reus probably doesn't see it that way, mind you. He's the Borussia Dortmund footballer who got fined 540,000 euros for repeatedly driving his fancy schmancy sports car without a driver's license. But he makes like, 100,000 euros a week, so he'll pay off the fine soon enough.
I have been buying nail polish again. I was being so GOOD for a while there. Well, it was a forced goodness, mostly, because my new favourite polish brand, A England, was mostly out of stock at Nail Polish Canada. This stuff ain't cheap ($14.50 Canadian per bottle), but the colours are gorgeous, lots of holographics, and the polish lasts and lasts. And no, I don't own stock in the company!
