Feb. 16th, 2015 08:55 pmI have discovered that there are 2 flavours of Haagen-Dazs that I find disgusting and which are likely going to sit in my fridge until kingdom come, with a few spoonfuls only taken out of them. Chocolate peanut butter and Black cherry amaretto. This is AWESOME! I was beginning to think that Haagen-Dazs was my fatal weakness, every flavour another chip carved out of my willpower.
Say, in the UK, when you have an elderly person and the council is paying for their care, or at any rate paying for part of it, is that person allowed to move to another local authority? Say Granny X is in a care home in Southampton, but her child lives in London and would prefer Granny X to be in a care home nearby to their home. Will the new council take her on, or will she lose her public funding? My Google-Fu is failing me.
