Dec. 13th, 2014 07:47 pmToday has been a day of one-liners. This morning Young Miss Weaver had to go back to the vet for a check-up on her renal function (she had some abnormal test results in August). And this evening I took Brother out to dinner and then he put together my new microwave cart.
The vet tech had to take her blood pressure, but the machine wasn't working properly. After failing to register a pulse on the electronic gadget, she said, "Well, I can't get any blood pressure, but in my professional opinion, your cat's alive."
And as we were taking the old, broken microwave cart out to the dumpster, I said to Brother, "I should've brought my phone. It has a flashlight app. Or I could've just brought an actual flashlight, I guess."
Brother shot back, "That just sums up the entire 21st century right there."
