Apr. 10th, 2014 05:22 pmIf anybody is ordering flowers for delivery somewhere in Canada, I have just used Canada Flowers and had a good experience with them. I placed the order online, but there were hiccups (on my end, not the site or the affiliate florist's end) and I ended up having to call the 1-800 number twice. I was bracing myself for an eternity on hold, but on both occasions an actual live person answered the phone fairly quickly, and was polite and knowledgeable. The affiliate florist delivered within a tight 2 hour time window, too, which I was a bit nervous about.
And my dad says his orchids are lovely. Well, technically what he said was, "The flowers are lovely. What are they?" and I had to explain that they're orchids, but he knows zip about flowers, so I'm not too worried that they sent something else instead. I once brought him lilies some years ago (brought him, not sent him, so I knew exactly what they were) and he didn't know they were lilies until I told him so.
Obviously, other people may have different experiences. I suspect with any kind of Teleflora business you're heavily dependent on your local affiliate florist happening to be both reliable and honest. But the quality control in this case seemed very good. I would use them again.
Here endeth the commercial.
