Archeologists may have found the remains of King Richard III, under a carpark in Leicester. BBC News has more details. He was the last British monarch to die in battle, incidentally. And I share
kalypso_v's belief that his bones should be returned to York if possible. I doubt they will be, as the team who found the remains are with the University of Leicester, but it would be nice.
cobweb_diamond's off-LJ/DW blog Hello Tailor has a look at costume design in the various Sherlock Holmes adaptations. I didn't know there was so much entertaining stuff to be said about clothes!
I haven't read this yet, but it's a new book about female characters in Agatha Christie books, Agatha Christie: Investigating Femininity and it looks great. I will let you know how it is after I find an ebook version.
