coffeeandink has a good summary post of the recent sexual harassment incident at Readercon and the reaction by the board of directors for the con, and also a good follow-up post.

On a different note, went to the Early Music Festival last night and heard Ellen Hargis sing love songs by Monteverdi and others, accompanied by a very young harpschicordist named Christopher Bagan. She, of course, was fabulous. As for him, the best that can be said for his playing is that he's young, and he has plenty of time left to improve.
