Oct. 8th, 2011 10:29 amSo a few days ago I posted a friends-locked/access list only post, and after about 24 hours I filtered it so only those people who'd already commented could still see it. I love custom filters (I would've privatized the post altogether, but I want to reply to the commenters at some point).
And it made me feel a fair bit better about the situation. Journalling really DOES help, both the cathartic aspect of writing down something that's driving you nuts (because the writing down process blunts it), and also the feedback aspect from commenters. 9 year veteran of LiveJOURNAL website suddenly realizes journalling is a good thing. NEWS AT ELEVEN!!!!!!
I get caught up in the TV show squee and movie squee and news articles sometimes and forget that ultimately DW/LJ are about journalling. So, um, those of you who have functioning brains and already knew that, carry on.
