I like the lamp too. It looks amazing now it's been installed. Really sets off the daffodil yellow of the walls.
I think I could probably go seven years without a TV quite easily, although time will tell. They turned it off on Tuesday, and I haven't yet absent-mindedly tried to turn it on.
