"Baby beluga in the deep blue sea, you swim so wild and you swim so free"

Gakked from , have a Mariachi band serenading a beluga whale. Watch it even if you don't think whales are cute or Mariachi bands play good music. Trust me. This whale is such a "little white whale on the go."

If you have no idea what the frell I'm talking about with the baby beluga stuff, have a piece of my Canadian childhood. Okay fine, maybe Raffi was more impressive when I was six, but it's still an awesome song, damnit. Though somewhat ironic given that the beluga in the mariachi video is in an aquarium. Whatever. It's still an awesome mariachi video, damnit.

I may be swearing too much for a post which features two different videos about musical cetaceans. The word "damnit" lacks innocence.

P.S. Ran into [profile] anathema666 at the Skytrain station. Yay! Um, but no belugas were involved, nor whales of any kind. Damnit. Commuting would be more fun with marine mammals.

Thank you for those videos, they're great! I looked up Raffi on Wikipedia, and wow, I love it when I leave a Wikipedia article with respect rather than dismay at the person described within.
