I think you'll find that at the time when the Daily Mail published the original retraction Terry had the benefit of a "super-injunction" which the publication in question would have breached. Thanks to some courageous acts by other newspapers and some reality-checking within the RCJ and Court of Appeal the high-water mark ofthe super-injunction is now receding and some sanity being restored to British press reporting.
