Good for Cumberbatch! I try to know as little as possible about the personal lives of artists whose work I admire, in case they turn out to be assholes and my enjoyment of their work is tainted. But seriously, good for Cumberbatch. From the article, it doesn't sound like Rhodes was much fun to be around as he dealt with the nightmarish legal challenge, so good for his friends and loved ones sticking by him. I realize that's kind of the bare minimum one expects from a close friend, but sometimes people are acutely uncomfortable dealing with sexual and/or childhood abuse issues and drift away in cases like that.

As for the legal case, I'm not a lawyer, nor do I play one on the internet, but that seems FUCKED UP!
