Where's my cow, dammit?

This site is addictive. Also blocked at my workplace. I can get Livejournal at work, but a site for buying nail polish over the internet is blocked. So I spent a ridiculously long amount of time after work trying to figure out exactly which red Agent Carter would paint her nails. I love Zoya. I especially love Posh, which is not a Peggy Carter red. For one thing because it's matte, and Agent Carter wears shiny nail polish, and for another because it's too pinky-purply, not a true red. But it's a pretty colour nevertheless. Has anybody tried the Zoya matte topcoat? I've only ever worn Posh and other mattes with a regular topcoat, which probably lessens the effect.

Thinking about nail polish distracts me from thinking about Terry Pratchett and the fact that there will be no more Discworld books. I'm sure his family and friends (people who knew Pratchett the man as opposed to Pratchett the author) are much, MUCH more upset than I am. But I think about how I sobbed on the bus while reading "Thud!" for the first time, and he had an effect on my life. A very one-sided effect of course, as always between author and reader, but I don't cry on public transit for nothing.

And now I'm getting maudlin over the death of someone I never met, so I'm going to shut up.
