Happy Boxing Day!

I had a good, though busy, Christmas Day, thanks.
My iPhone is being weird. First of all it's decided that some of the music I bought on iTunes was actually iTunes Match stuff (which it wasn't), and my subscription to iTunes Match has expired. You may recall that I lost my credit card, so I can't renew iTunes Match until the new card arrives. Although it shouldn't have anything to do with iTunes Match. I can't play Vienna Teng's new album on my phone, even though I spent good money on it actually at iTunes. I'm bitter about that, man. Secondly, my Google app isn't working. I can do searches, but when I click on the search results, nothing happens. It won't take me to the search results. Finally, my Mail app has stopped working. It won't give me my emails. At least it will still dial phone numbers and accept incoming calls. THE BASICS HAVE NOT YET DESERTED ME!
All the above adds up to a trip to the Genius Bar, methinks. Which should be FUN this time of year, with half of Vancouver cramming into the store to use their Apple gift cards, or buy cut-price merchandise in the Boxing Week sales. Actually, I'm not sure if Apple even does cut prices for the after-Christmas sales. Every other retailer does, though, so it's a reasonably safe assumption.
This time of year must be frustrating for people who don't celebrate Christmas. I mean, even though a lot of people nowadays emphasize the Santa stuff over the Nativity stuff, it's still very much a culturally Christian holiday. And Santa is a Christian figure himself.
